A coeducational boarding and day school for students aged 11 to 18, Harrow International School Bengaluru brings the excellence of the Harrow Family of Schools to India for the first time.

Located on a magnificent new campus, close to the international airport in the Devanahalli area of Bengaluru, the school combines academic excellence with a deeply holistic education. We develop key leadership attributes, self-confidence and intellectual curiosity within our students, through an exhaustive range of academic and cocurricular opportunities.

Upper School

The Upper School incorporates students from Grades 6 to 12 (UK Years 7 to 13). It will consist of two phases: Middle School for students aged 11 to 14, in Grades 6 to 8, and Upper School for students aged 14 to 18, in Grades 9 to 12.

The Upper School will have strong academic focus, as students follow IGCSE courses in Grades 9 and 10, before embarking on their sixth form course in Grades 11 and 12. A prominent University Guidance Counselling Team, supported by globally experienced teaching staff, who themselves attended world-leading institutions, will help Upper School students to identify and then achieve offers from outstanding international universities.

At the same time, the Upper School will continue to ensure a full engagement with the holistic life of the school. Leadership opportunities will be particularly prominent and an embedded enthusiasm for involvement in sport and the arts will be further nurtured to ensure Upper School students build a balanced portfolio of interests and the variety of activities which best support their wellbeing.

In the Middle School, students will study a dynamic and culturally relevant curriculum, which will both ensure the development of academic skills and ensure a strong foundation in a wide scope of subjects, from which individual students can select their IGCSE courses. Hence, as well as the core subjects of English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography and Modern Languages, Middle School students will also study Art, Coding, Dance, Drama, Music, Physical Education, and Design, Technology and Engineering.

Strong daily engagement with our holistic programme will be an essential element of the Middle School experience. Opportunities in sport will be embedded into the weekly routine of every student, whilst regular performances in music, dance and drama will present multiple opportunities to develop these skills. Middle School students will participate in the International Award, to ensure that they build a portfolio of experiences which include the development of new skills, physical activity, involvement in expeditions and leadership.
Lower School

We plan to open the Lower School shortly, extending the opportunity to benefit from a Harrow education to younger children. The Lower School will share the same site as the Upper School, ensuring continuity and convenience to Harrow families.
