On 1 October the Founding Head Master of Harrow Bengaluru visited the campus site to meet with the construction team and to view the initial progress on the building works. Construction began in early September and, despite the challenges presented by heavy recent rainfall, is ahead of schedule.
Mr Leale remarked ‘It is wonderful to see the construction progress made already and to meet with the highly professional team who are overseeing the building process. It was particularly exciting to see the foundations for two of our boarding houses already in place. Boarding, in our outstandingly well equipped boarding houses, will be an important element of the Harrow experience, helping to ensure students continue to learn and engage with our holistic school programme throughout the day and week.’
